Thank you for reaching out to Partners in Ministry.

Partners in Ministry support and equip church leaders to effectively lead flourishing and vibrant churches throughout Australia and New Zealand, across multiple denominations.
Leading a church in today's world is no small feat. In fact, statistics reveal that one in four pastors is currently grappling with burnout. The challenges have only intensified in the aftermath of COVID, affecting not just churches but the individuals within them.
Our fundamental ethos is to walk alongside church leaders, offering confidential, personal, and spiritual support. We recognise that the journey of ministry is both demanding and rewarding, and our goal is to ensure leaders navigate it successfully.
We recognise that all churches are different and sometimes it can be difficult to identify whether a church is healthy or not—or what the best next steps may be. Partners in Ministry looks to support church leaders in their situation. We don’t have a “cookie cutter” approach to our services, but rather we look to provide services that every leader and church need.

Approximately 700 Church leaders were supported in some way by either Partners in Ministry or the Centre for Ministry Development (CMD) during 2023.
In January 2024, both organisations collaborated to conduct a survey with these church leaders. The survey was to assist leaders in reflection on their leadership, their personal position, and their church through 2023. 140 leaders completed the reflection survey by the cut-off date.
This report aims to aggregate these findings to gain insights into where these leaders are currently at and to see if we can have a better understanding of the church climate at the end of 2023.
